Architectural Recognition
Post Tower, Bonn – For the wayfinding system of DHL headquarters, Lengyel Design developed three design directions, each attuned to the building's glass-and-steel architecture, and presented them as full-scale models. The selection was made by Helmut Jahn, the tower's architect.
On the German Design Award: The nomination is made by the jury and expert panels of the German Design Council (Rat für Formgebung) – one of the highest state recognitions for design quality in the German-speaking world.
Engineering award – Gabor Lengyel
Preis für besondere wissenschaftliche Leistungen
– Prize for Outstanding Academic Achievement
University-wide prize for the diploma project – awarded once per faculty and year; Faculty of Engineering Design and Production Engineering, University of Stuttgart.
This award represents the engineering core of Lengyel Design's work: the ability to penetrate technical complexity methodically – and to translate it into designable product architectures. The project was commissioned by industry.
